WHAT WE DO

Graykite’s mission is to share our love for kiteboarding on surf and snow with as many people as possible. It’s as simple as that. To help us do that we follow a teaching methodology that we have designed to maximise your progress and enjoyment, and to make sure we provide the best possible experience we use it to structure all the lessons at our kite schools in Tarifa, Bermuda ,Canmore, Sierra Nevada.

To get our ideas and techniques across to you we’ve hand picked some of the finest instructors in the world to head up our teams.

OUR TEAM LEADERS

Our team leaders are some of the most experienced and passionate instructors anywhere in the world. Between the three of them they have over 30 years of teaching experience and they’re more than happy to share everything they know about the sport and their home towns with you. This combination of teaching and local expertise means you’ll have a fantastic time on the board and a memorable time off it.

All our kitesurfing instructors are IKO qualified. They’ll get you up on your board and riding in no time.

Global Team Leader

GRAY ROBINSON

Gray is our global team leader and our hands on team leader at our Tarifa kitesurfing school from March through November. He has personally taught over 4,000 men, women, girls and boys to kitesurf. His pupils have ranged from 6 years of age to 79 years young; some being the larger than small type people, and some being the smaller than large ones, including very fit and getting fitter individuals.

As well as being a very experienced instructor who has run and built kite schools in 8 countries, Gray knows down to the most detailed reasons what to do to ensure your success in learning the sport of kitesurfing. If that’s not enough, Gray’s also a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, a PADI scuba instructor, fitness instructor and first aid medic instructor

Canmore Team Leader

Gilles Boudreau is team leader at our snowkiting school in Canmore, Canada. Gilles has over 10 years professional teaching experience and was one of the original faces to introduce the sport of snowkiting to the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

As a competitive speed racer, Gilles’ ambitious goal for this year is to claim a medal in upcoming Red Bull Snow Farm Kite events. This means he follows a rigorous seasonal training program so he’ll always be in great shape to teach you!

He loves to introduce new people to the sport, so whether you have tried kitesurfing or have never been on a kite, are an expert snowboarder or a powder novice, Gilles is the man to introduce you to this exciting sport or take you to the next level of snowkiting.

Boracay Team Leader

Michael Alojado is Team Leader at our Boracay kitesurfing school. With over 5 years experience teaching kitesurfing in Boracay and on his nearby home island of Tablas, Michael really knows the local conditions and he can use his local knowledge to ensure your progression and enjoyment.

With his warm persona and attention to detail it comes as no surprise that he’s worked for the Philippines Tourism Authority. You’ll experience that extra special touch that you can only find by learning from one of the true legends of the local kitesurfing scene. Michael’s personality and experience means he is the perfect host to ensure you enjoy your dream kitesurfing holiday in Boracay.
